- Dissemination of Knowledge and Institutional Experience
To disseminate the policies, programs, institutional experiences, and ideas of DKPP as an institution mandated to uphold the Code of Ethics for Election Organizers and as an integral component of Indonesia's electoral administration system. - Advancement of Research on Ethics and Democracy
To promote and disseminate research, scholarly studies, and intellectual discourse concerning the importance of ethical enforcement for election organizers and public officials, as well as efforts to strengthen and restructure Indonesia's electoral system toward a modern democratic state.
Mission
To become a national and international scientific journal on Ethics and Elections, serving as a University of Industry Democracy—a scholarly platform that brings together academic knowledge, institutional experience, empirical research, and practical perspectives to advance the study and practice of ethical and democratic electoral governance.
Through this mission, Jurnal Etika & Pemilu seeks to contribute to the development of election ethics as a field of knowledge, strengthen the culture of integrity among election stakeholders, and foster meaningful dialogue between academia, election management institutions, policymakers, civil society, and the wider democratic community.
Ultimately, Jurnal Etika & Pemilu aspires to become more than an institutional journal. It seeks to serve as a living intellectual forum for democracy, where ideas are examined, experiences are documented, ethical challenges are debated, and new approaches to electoral governance are developed. By connecting scholarship with institutional practice, the journal contributes to the continuing effort to build an electoral system in which integrity and ethics are not merely principles, but foundations of democratic legitimacy.
